The column also includes packing material that should stay relatively stationary throughout the experiment, so violent floods should not be allowed to persist. This apparatus contains several valves that control the direction of the water, air, and carbon dioxide, therefore, the position of each valve must be monitored. Concerning the LabVIEW software, caution must be adopted when providing the input values to ensure the apparatus is safe and the data is correct. In addition to the experiment safety, precautions regarding Covid are in use such as wearing face shields, maintaining social distance, and each member occupying one of the three green tape boxes spread out throughout the area. Since the two-phase flow experiment is also in the vicinity, each group must be aware of the other groups whereabouts during the course of the experiment.
