Oklahoma State University History Affordable Health Care Question

I’m working on a history Essay and need a sample draft to help me learn.

1. What do you believe is the great problem facing the United States currently?

2. How would you propose we fix this using legislation? (Be specific, and cite sources supporting your ideas) What are the pros and cons of this solution?
3. What struggles do you believe there would be in passing this or having it implemented? (Think about who supports your proposal or doesn’t)

Example: Perhaps you believe that the greatest policy problem facing the United States is the increasing cost of higher education and the associated increase in student loan debt being held by Americans. One policy solution may be related to increasing federal support for university funding so that tuition inflation slows down, other solutions may be related to having the federal government ‘forgive’ student debt. Regarding debt forgiveness, this is a policy being pushed by more progressive Democrats, with more moderate Democrats being less enthusiastic on the idea (they support some forgiveness, just not to the same extent as the more progressive wing.) These proposals are strongly opposed by most Republicans.

Requirements: No less than 500 words. Three sources of high quality (news articles, academic sources) must be used.

Format: No specific format required, students may use MLA/APA/Chicago/Whatever format they wish, as long as they list a works cited page. ALL SOURCES MUST BE CITED. Papers submitted without proper citation with receive an automatic 20% penalty, NO EXCEPTIONS.
