Northwestern Technical College Scatterplot of the Boston Marathon Data Questions

I’m working on a mathematics spreadsheet and need a sample draft to help me learn.

1. Make a scatterplot of the Boston marathon data using years vs. time (in minutes)of both the men’s and women’s data in the same scatter plot.
2. Display the linear equation of the trendline along with the R-squared Value.
3. Use your equations to predict the winning men’s and winning women’s time for the year 2012, then compare your equations times to the actual winning times (you will have to look them up)? How do your predictions compare to the actual?
4. Approximately what year will the times be the same? Do you think this is possible?
5. Turn in a word document with your answers to all the questions. Insert your graphs into the word document also
