Miami University Five Stages of The Project Management Life Cycle Discussion

The assignment is based around the 5 stages of the Project Management Life Cycle. To be specific, more centred around my life cycle in the Business/Student world. I will provide the information needed to go on. The essay should consist of:

– Introduction, what is a project life cycle, the 5 stages (what they are), why professional careers are important, the changes that come with them and how to maintain/grow.

-My background…come from a business family, we are into plastics, did not want to pursue the same so chose to go to the wrong university for Politics, Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Changed as I realised there isn’t much Money in politics and transferred to EU Business School, Munich, pandemic hit so since then been living in Istanbul with family since everything is online.

– How my professional career started (end of highschool, from going to a United Nations School in Thailand and Graduating from the American School of Bombay in Mumbai, India, Going to the wrong University, Knox College in Galesburg, moving to EU Business School to pursue International Business Management

– Initiation, graduating high school, choosing a university which was wrong (politics etc.) realising I am good at economics etc. and social skills which will help in the Business World

– Planning, visa procedures (1-3 months), getting accepted to EU Business School, finding apartments (tough in Munich), eligibility criteria (quite easy being an IB Baccalaureate graduate and speaking fluent English whilst having great SAT scores. Financial Requirements (not an issue since much cheaper than the United States and family is funding.

Execution- Moving there (not done yet due to the pandemic but already paying rent on the apartment since January as well as completing 1 year online. Time-management skills (not an issue for online) but lets see when the move takes place on 1st of April, 2021.

Monitor and Control- Managing being home-sick since it already happened in Illinois, study-work balance since I am already working with a Tech company which works with Blockchain here in Istanbul, Turkey . Managing time with hobbies like Gymming, yachting, socialising etc.

Closure- What I want to achieve? Now, to continue working with the tech company, finish and graduate from Business School, Pursue a masters in the same field (MBA), make good connections and network with the right people and in the end take over the family business.
