FILM ANALYSIS ESSAY

This essay will consist of analyzing the philosophical dimensions in a film of your choice. A film critique requires that you construct a well-reasoned analysis of the story and its characters. This film study should address course themes related to epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics. You must address at least two philosophers in your analysis.

Success with this assignment requires applying what you’ve learned about philosophy to the complexities of human experience as they are dramatized in the narrative of the film. You must provide thoughtful interpretations with solid reasoning. Just as we’ve done in class; strive to think carefully about the nature of the human condition about philosophical issues.

In your analysis, you must draw inferences from at least two philosophers using their perspectives on the three major subfields of philosophy (ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology).
