Johns Hopkins University Retail Analytics and Data Analytics Questions

I’m working on a data analytics exercise and need an explanation to help me study.

I am supposed to use the attached csv file in R/R Studio but I have never used the program and have little/no guidance on how to use the program in the first week of this class – I don’t even know the first step of what I’m supposed to do to analyze the file. Below is what I have from the instructor.

I can answer the questions in the exercise but am looking for help in understanding how to use R – step by step, so I know how to use it for future exercises.

In this assignment you will practice with R and RStudio.

Steps

1. Download the Advertising csv file (I listed the data at the very bottom because the file I saved from the CSV is telling me I can’t upload it – not sure if this is because I’m on a Mac?)
2. Click on the title above “M1 Exercise R and R Studio” (This is the title and also the link) to begin the activity. It is in 13 parts.
