Read Carl Abbott’s chapter “Money in the Air” about tourism in the early-20th century West. Then choose one of the following archival collections to find an advertisement for western travel or tourism during the period before 1930.

Describe the advertisement (what it was promoting, who, where, etc.) and explain how it relates to any of the points made in Abbott’s chapter.
