Harvard School of Business Religion Beliefs of the Roman Catholics Response

Question Description

I’m working on a religion question and need guidance to help me learn.

members of your group suggested a few beliefs and/or practices that a person within a specific branch (or sub-branch) of Christianity might consider to be positive. In your response to one member’s posting, suggest a few beliefs and/or practices that a Muslim might consider to be positive in Islam, and try to compare this list to a member’s list for Christianity.

Here is a member of my group post :

Juan: For many Roman Catholics, there is a belief in saints and Virgin Mary which helps them build somewhat of a bridge with god. It makes it easier for them to understand how great God is and they find comfort in knowing that those saints were once humans as well so its easier to relate to them without worshipping them as many people believe, likewise for Virgin Mary who is the mother of Jesus; she represents a motherly figure for a lot of Catholics and that brings comfort to many as well. Orthodox believe in the wine and bread (Communion) to be the actual blood and body of Christ which brings them a type of comfort knowing god is within them when ingesting the wine and bread.
