I’m working on a writing question and need an explanation to help me understand better.

Based on what you read in our books, modules, resources, and lessons, and drawing on the literary analysis skills you developed in our class, do you think that children’s literature is a medium that can result in affecting real life socio-political change? Why or why not? Write a short response of approximately 250 words; make sure that your response is properly organized, well-written, thoughtful, and uses specific examples (ie quotes, paraphrases) from the literature we studied, as well as our modules, textbook, and/or Actively Learn lessons (quotes/paraphrases). You must cite properly (APA or MLA).

Based on what you read in the Actively Learn lessons and through our modules , do you think it is ethical to keep Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone on the course given the controversy with J.K. Rowling? Why or why not? Write a short response of approximately 250 words; make sure that your response is properly organized, well-written, knowledgeable, uses specific examples, and is thoughtful. Based on your knowledge of the children’s literature on our course, as well as your knowledge of literary terminology and the socio-political importance of children’s literature, analyze ONE of the below sections (ie you may choose to focus on analyzing its style, tone, theme, characterization, OR setting, for example); in your analysis, be sure to examine the section’s value to child readers. Write approximately 400 words.
