Chicago Public Schools Culture of Western Centric Diversity Discussion

Hello, I need a discussion post done. It needs to be 300-400 words. I will attach any reading needed at the end of this.

For Zhengming and wu-wei,. how do these concepts fit into the materials we have covered so far? Are definitions really so important? What about different people having different definitions, having the same terms mean different things to them?

For Toolbox, focus on the kinds of questions that are being presented (and I suggest memorizing them) – how would you group them into categories and why? What other questions can we ask? How can our own delivery have an impact on the kinds of answers we get in return?

For the last two readings, focus on the meaning of the idea of diversity. What kind of diversity should we care about – according to the article (it’s not directly stated)? Why? What about other forms of diversity? Are there negative versions of diversity (diversity we don’t want)? Why/why not? If so, why are those kinds of diversity undesirable?

Can religion be considered a form of diversity? Why/why not? What is your best counterargument to the “Role of religion” article?
