First RecordingYou will tell a story using the storytelling arc. You can later use it in job interviews. Consider that an interview for acorporate job really requires selling. Your story will be about how you overcame something in a work situation. It willbe a maximum of two (2) minutes long. If you go over, I will not grade it.

First AnalysisYou will produce two documents to assess your performance—a verbatim transcription of your story and apersuasiveness checklist.Verbatim TranscriptionYou will type out every word you say in your story, including all interjections. Highlight the interjections witha yellow highlighter. The verbatim transcription gives you a visual idea of your story. It lets you see how youuse language and how it serves you.

Formatting

Formatting is critical. You will lose one letter grade (20 points) by failing to conform to this format.

Upload your document in DOCX format. Type this out in 11-point Arial Narrow, single-spaced with one-inchmargins all around. Make sure your right margin is ragged. IN THE HEADER right justified, put your name (lastname, first Name on line one, class and meeting time on line two, Bronco ID number on line three, and projectpart on line 4. Put your page number on the right side IN THE FOOTER.

For the analysis sections, use the hanging indent formatting used in the Persuasiveness Checklist as yourguide. The hanging indent is ¾ of an inch.
