Please find a current news item (or collection of related items) within the last 2 years that expand on some aspect of Application Systems for 21st Century Organizations. Within that set of guardrails, you have broad latitude to select a topic area to explore including enterprise applications, database systems, business intelligence, and so forth.

With this article, in addition to reviewing the unit notes or the L&L chapter readings for ideas, you will also be incorporating ideas from Kevin Kelly’s “The Inevitable” book (as noted in the syllabus).
