VC Amazon Mission Statement Employee Roles & Company Structure Essay

This assignment calls for you to write an Academic Report on a large organization of your choice that you have an interest in working for in the future. In this report, you will focus on either a significant success or a significant failure that the company has experienced in the last 20 years (since the start of the year 2000). The success/failure (you are writing about one of these, not both) could be related to a product/service (an example of success would be the Apple iPad and an example of a failure would be Netflix’s attempt to become two different companies), something related to politics/public policy, a cyberattack, a public relations scandal, winning an award/championship, etc.

You are required to utilize (correctly quote/refer to, cite, and reference in MLA or APA) at least five (5) different sources of evidence. This does not mean that you have to have five different types of evidence (all five could be from websites, for example). There is no requirement for where you acquire your evidence but remember that citing a source is telling readers that you vouch for its accuracy, so be sure to assess all evidence accordingly.

As well, you will be required to format your paper in either MLA or APA format. Microsoft provides easy to use templates for each one in Microsoft Word, so be sure to utilize those resources. Also, be sure to use a reference generator like Knight Cite – a list of URLs at the end of the paper will not cut it.

Here is what your paper must include:

? A clear description of the organization and what it does.

? Feed forwarding and review of the main points of the argument

? Historical context for the organization and the success/failure that is the focus

? A clear explanation of the success/failure that you are writing about

? Effective use of MLA/APA format (page layout, title page, etc.)

? A minimum of at least five (5) correctly utilized, cited, and referenced sources of evidence by way of testimony and/or statistics.

All things considered, this assignment must be a minimum of eight double-spaced pages in 12-point type, Times New Roman.
