Topic: Grounded in the PMBOK Guide (5th Edition),you must choose from ONE of the three broad Project Management Area options listed below.
Option 1. Overview and Introduction to Project Management
Project Management(A Project, Project Management, the Project Manager), and Organizational Influences and Project Life Cycle. (PMBOK Chapter 1 and 2)
Option 2. Project Management Process Groups (PMBOK Chapter 3)
Process Groups; (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, & Closing) viz-a-viz process interactions and project information.
Option 3. Project Management TEN Knowledge Areas (PMBOK Chapters 4-13).
Areas: Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Risk, Procurement, Stakeholders. For Option 3, choose only THREE out of the ten related PM Knowledge Areas.
After selecting ONE of the three available options, students are tasked to collaborate and create a presentation (in the form of an instruction/training manual for project managers and project team members). The manual must address the following:
- Introduction of the Project Management Area selected
- Rationale and importance of Project Management Area selected
- Discussion of the selected Project Management Area in an existing or fictitious project(s)
- Best practices recommendation, and pitfalls to avoid, and how.
- Final advice for Project Managers and team members.
PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS
Proposal must adhere to the following EIGHT requirements:
MEMBERS: I am doing this alone so please just leave blank
DRAFT TITLE: Create a descriptive draft title.
ABSTRACT and/or INTRODUCTORY PARAGRAPH: Include an abstract and/or introductory paragraph that captures your proposed group presentation; approach, purpose, method, expected findings, conclusion/implications, etc
OUTLINE: Create a draft outline of the components of your presentation, including the structure; topics and sub-topics.
REFERENCES/WORK CITED: Include a reference/work cited page with 5-10 academic sources.
CITATION FORMAT State your choice of APA, MLA, or APSA format for your paper.
PAGE NUMBER: Proposal should be one to two pages, or three pages maximum.
PRESENTATION MODE: Proposal must indicate, the group’s intended mode of presentation (PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.)

Submission Format
The group project will be delivered in TWO parts; a proposal, and the final group project presentation. The submitted file must be a word document.
