University of Miami Sports Information Management Analysis Paper

Given that sport entities interact with constituents in various ways, select a sport brand (e.g., team, league) and identify at least three common points of engagement with key stakeholders (e.g., constituents, customers). From there, identify at least three characteristics of the previously mentioned interaction that would likely influence the stakeholder’s experience with the interaction. Discussion posts must be grounded in the course readings. Thus, all thoughts and ideas should be supported by the readings for this section of the course. Students will be graded on the depth of their analysis regarding to the example used for the discussion, how well thoughts and ideas are supported, and grammar. It is the responsibility of each student to critically analysis the information in this section. Citations and references must be APA formatted. No direct quotes are allowed, so students are required to write everything in your own words – your explanation of what the authors’ state. In addition, students may not use the same example. Once an example of a sport organization is posted to Blackboard, the organization cannot be used by any other member of the class. Should this occur, it will result in a zero for subsequent posts using a previously discussed sport organization. Students are responsible for making sure they do not submit duplicate examples – Please check the discussion board before posting work.

The analysis should be 500-700 words. Direct quotes are absolutely prohibited and will be severely punished if used for this assignment. Analyzes of the organization must be supported by the readings and written in your own words. You will be graded on the depth of the analysis, how well you demonstrate your understanding of the concepts for this assignment, incorporating information from the class textbook – in your words – in your evaluation, and grammar.
