Mini-Exhibition

Your exhibition will require you to create all of the materials needed for your mini-exhibition. You will “publish” these materials online using PowerPoint. Each exhibition should include the following components:

· Title of Exhibition

· Curatorial statement (REVISED from Feeder 6)

· 2 exhibition catalogue entries (REVISED Feeder 5 + 1 additional entry)

· 6 high-quality images (1 of which you have created yourself) and Wall Labels – wall labels include the title, artist, artist’s dates, date of work, and material

· NOTE: Put entries in order in which you would like for them to be viewed in the exhibition (as close to online “layout” as we can get). This doesn’t have to be chronologically unless this fits best with your theme.

******Your powerpoint will include the title, images, and wall labels. The written portion (the curatorial statement and catalogue entry essays) will be uploaded separately as word docs or pdfs.

The chief curator will determine the success of your exhibition based on the following criteria:

· relevance of the selected works and their order of presentation to the exhibition theme

· relevance of title to the exhibition theme

· ability of the curatorial statement to inform and persuade

· conciseness and educational value of exhibition catalog entries and wall labels, as well as their understandability for a general audience

· accuracy of the information presented

· quality of the writing in exhibition catalog entries and curatorial statements.

· consistency of format of exhibition and materials
