Strayer University The Children of Men by P D James Essay

Works of literature often explore social and cultural issues by transposing contemporary conflicts onto scenarios defined by radically divergent realities and different sets of challenges. Based on your reading of The Children of Men, write an essay that:

1. Explains who the resisters are and what they are resisting,
2. Explores similarities and differences between the resisters in the novel and at least one resistence movement in the modern world,
3. Clarifies whether you think that science fiction, fantasy and other literary forms that construct alternate worlds (i) can offer novel insights into the actual world or (ii) deal with circumstances that are so alien that they can only provide entertainment or diversion.

The essay is due by 11:59pm on Wednesday , November 18, 2020.

The essay should be no more than 750 words, doubled spaced using 12-point font, and follow the same formatting conventions as the first two essays.
