You are to design a Management by Objectives (MBO) performance appraisal for the Training and Development Specialist position to be used when you meet with the incumbent employee to explain your expectations for their performance over the next twelve months. You are to select three (3) objectives that the employee will be evaluated on. Be sure to include the time line by which each goal will be met, as well as dates for review of accomplishments.

In order to receive maximum credit your paper must:

  • Include references compliant with the APA format . Review the sample document
  • The paper must include an original list of objectives that demonstrate your ability to apply the course material. Remember to use your research to support your recommendations.
  • The paper must be between 450 – 500 words, using double-spaced, Times New Roman font.
  • The paper’s last paragraph will have the heading LESSONS LEARNED in which you will generalize what you have learned from the week’s research and readings.
  • Your research must use a minimum of two outside resources. Do not use the textbook as a source.
  • Include the paper’s total word count at the bottom of the last page. Do not include the cover page or reference page in the word count.
