San Diego State University Children Development in The Early Stages Reflection Paper

Choose two episodes from the Netflix documentary series “Babies:” https://www.netflix.com/search?q=babies. Choose two children in each of those episodes (4 babies total), and consider two developmental milestones you see occur in the show. Describe what is happening from two different perspectives. Include at least 4 outside references (peer-reviewed journal articles).

Total paper length should be 4-5 pages double spaced. APA format.

(Because this is a reflection paper, you will not have “research” headings like intro, methods, results and discussion. Use APA format for titles that describe each child, and certainly references. )

RUBRIC: 50 points per baby – 2 milestones each, 2 developmental theories each = 200

75 points for the integration of 4 outside peer reviewed citations into the paper

25 points for APA format of cover page, paper and citations

Also, when possible, please use the babies’ names for the section titles. Lastly, you do not need to divide the sources throughout your essays in any specific way (e.g. two per baby); feel free to use them wherever you think they fit best.
