Oklahoma City Community College Emergency Operations Plans Discussion

In all the safety and security conferences that I have been to both as an instructor and as an army officer, Agriculture terrorism has hardly ever come up in the presentations or even in conversations.

However, in the times we live, that will change. It doesn’t take anything you learn in college to have you understand the impact that a devastating crop failure would have in this country.

One of the emerging centers of research for this type of terrorism is located at Kansas State University at Manhattan, Kansas. The National Agricultural Biosecurity Center, (NABC), is a giant leap in America’s preparedness for an inevitable attack on America’s food chain.

Once you’ve read over the material, explain how this should be a valuable tool of farms of all sizes. Expected responses to this quiz should not be less than 500 words.
