Ohio Christian University Measures of Central Tendency Discussion

Question Description

Explain measures of central tendency.

Measures of central tendency are the building blocks on which inferential statistics are built. These allow the researcher to compare groups quickly and easily with simple computations. The central tendency of a group of scores are typical or representative of all scores in a group. The mean, median, and mode all measure the center of a group of scores but each defines “center” differently.
