This is an individual short Project using RStudio – based on the course materials of weeks 1,2,3 and 4.

Please complete the steps below using your data of interest. You should choose one data csv file from the provided data files under Project1, on Modules.

You should use RStudio for completing steps 1-6. Type your notes including all the analysis in a Rmd file, when your project is complete, just knit the Rmd file and submit a html file via Turnitin (more details bout where to submit will be provided closer to the submission date). There is no page limits, but keep it short, clear and interesting. Include the steps below as titles with their numbers, on your Rmd file, if you fail to do this, it will be 2 points penalty. Also don’t forget to type your name and Student ID number on top of your Rmd file, it will be 4 points penalty if you forget to do this.

1. choose two variables that you are interested to know effects of one on another (review the given data files – pick a data file with your two variables of interest).

2. Work on descriptive statistics, data screening and data cleaning, as much as practiced in the course.

3. Clarify distribution of your sample observations, give some statistics and provide graphs.

4. Estimate your regression model using LS estimation method.

5. Test for appropriateness of your estimated model, comment on the problems if any (suggest/apply a solution, if you have any ideas. You can get up to 5 bonus points for resolving an issue that your regression model might have)

6. Estimate your final model and interpret your findings. Are your findings as you were expecting? If not, explain why.
