• Your discussion post should also address the history of this kind of object. If your object is a curling iron, for example, you should talk about the history of curling irons in general, in addition to when and where this particular one was purchased.
• Your discussion post should conclude with a thoughtful description of how the object is used in daily life and, most importantly, why it is meaningful to the culture that it comes from (your culture). For example, a curling iron doesn’t just curl your hair, using it allows us to conform to a certain standard of beauty. Think about what your object tells us about our culture more broadly.
