Illinois College Prevention Methods for BMI and Diabetes Issues Report

Find a dataset to analyze. (I suggest using some data related with health like Diabetes or any dataset).

The dataset should contain an outcome (response) variable and at least one other variable, which may be a variable that defines different groups of individuals.

Develop a research question to answer for these data. (If your data source already describes research questions for the dataset, you may use one of those if you wish.) Once you decide on the research question, analyze these data using One Sample Hypothesis Tests methodology.

The final report will contain:

1) an introduction that includes a description of the dataset and the variables in it, as well as the source of the dataset (complete reference and/or the URL).
2) a methods section where you describe the analysis you used.

3) a results section in which you present the results of your analyses.

4) a discussion section where you explain the results in light of the research question. The results and discussion sections may be combined, if you prefer. (Sometimes that makes for a clearer presentation.)

In addition to the report, submit a file containing the complete dataset. The data file may be a JMP file, an Excel file.
