Here’s an example…

Saaski is beginning to reconnect with her Folk self, as upon hearing her old name spoken it rings like a “clear note in her mind…The word was moql, and she found no meaning for it at all” (McGraw 137). Even as Saaski’s memories return, she has a difficult time remembering her old self with her name holding “no meaning” at all. The name “Moql” being uncapitalized demonstrates how unfamiliar and separate it is from Saaski’s current identity.
