1. Identify a contemporary social problem or issue of interest to you, and develop a tentative research question that explores or investigates some aspect of the social problem or issue.

2. Consider conducting a preliminary search for information about your topics using the CCC Library databases or Google Scholar.

3. Craft a preliminary research question.

4. Craft a preliminary thesis.

Basic Requirements

1. 750 (minimum) to 1000 (maximum) words essay

2. MLA or APA document style

3. Create a Working Bibliography of at least 10 CCC database or Google Scholar resources (Wikipedia does not count)

5. Submit your Argumentative Research Paper Proposal through the Turn-it-in link by the deadline
