This initial post should be a minimum of 200 words or more. Based on your own experience, how do handle stress? Review the pages on stress and the video on coping with stress to provide you with additional information. Think of instances when you feel stress and answer the following questions:

  1. Define what stress is? What does it look like for you? Are there any specific physical or behavioral features you can identify?
  1. Discuss the types of situations that are most stressful to you? Give examples to demonstrate what stress looks like for you.

2 Based on the information provided in Week 13, how we handle stress affects all areas of our life and well-being. Effective stress management helps you break the hold stress has on your life, so you can be happier, healthier, and more productive. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun—and the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on. But stress management is not one-size-fits-all. That is why it is important to experiment and find out what works best for you. Write an essay of no less than 300 words that addresses the following prompt:

Think about things that stress you out from daily littles hassles to big things like relationship issues. Make a list for yourself and then using the information about the 4 A’s of stress management from the article, see if you can eliminate or better control anything on your list. For the sake of this assignment you can limit your essay to 2 or 3 stressors, but I would advise you to keep the list and see if you can use this opportunity to reduce some stress in your life.

Grading Criteria:

In this essay, I am looking for you to identify stressors in your life and using the 4 A’s of stress management, describe how you can eliminate or reduce the amount of stressors in your life. Write a minimum of 300 words, use examples of stressors in your life, and apply the 4 A’s of stress management to address those stressors. Do not forget to flesh out your writing by using concrete examples to help illustrate your points. The examples should be from applicable personal experiences.
