Computer Science SWOSU Give Worker ID to Retrieve Worker Details Report
Question Description
Turn in project 2 as a report. The report has 2 parts. The first part is an updated resume worth 20 points. The second part is a semester project report worth 130 points.
This semester project report is a chance to reflect on your semester’s progress. This is where you can talk about what went well, and discuss what could have gone better. I would like this to be a more formal writing exercise. I have some guidelines that will help you structure your writing. This report represents the lines you have added to your resume on your own. Please provide a project nal report that includes:
- (10 points) Title (Make it catchy, make it believable, make it relevant, make it yours. This is where you describe your project in a single sentence. Write this last.)
- (10 points) Abstract (Think about a thirty second elevator pitch. This is where you describe your project in a paragraph. Write this second to last. Here are a few useful links:

- (10 points) Introduction (This can be like a long abstract that helps set the tone of the paper, lays out your goals, and describes the path to meet your goals. You can also include some of the high points from your discussion and repeat your main findings here. Write this just before you write your abstract.)
- (10 points) Literature Review (There is nothing new under the sun. Find out what others have done and published about. This can be anything from a vlog to a book. But try to address why you think this is a good idea, what you are adding of value, and most importantly, how you plan on being successful. Write this first.)
- (10 points) Experiment Methods (You have an idea. You know what others have done. How are you going to do your thing? Why is this a good idea? Write this second.)
- (10 points) Code Outline (This gives an idea of where you wanted to start. This can be as simple as a photo of the back of a napkin with some scribbles on it. This can be as advanced as a Kanban board or Request For Proposals. But give me a plan of what you will actually go do before you start to do it. You should have written this before you got started.)
- (10 points) Code (I want to see some code. This is a snapshot of where you are as a programmer.)
- (10 points) Results (What did you nd? What data did you produce? What had value? What had meaning?)
- (10 points) Discussion (Did you get what you expected? What are the limitations of what you found? What would you like to go look at differently?)
- (10 points) Conclusion (Now that you did the work and have your results, what can you say with confidence?)
- (30 points) Have someone edit your document. Turn in a copy of their edit suggestions along with your nal report.
- (Bonus 50 points) By Friday at 5:00 PM of the two weeks before dead week, turn in a draft copy of your nal report with the signature of a writing center tutor that has reviewed and commented on your paper.
