CCCC The Social Theory Research and Evaluation of Social Phenomena Discussion

Question Description

Part B: Visual Narrative (100 points)

The purpose of Part B is to visually illustrate what this social theory looks like. Your choices of photo/image/illustration/painting should be informed by your academic research. You should use the internet to find appropriate pictures that illustrate your topic. You will need to provide a minimum of 5 pictures. You will create an MS Word document with all 5 of these images, along with a description of each image. Your description should be at least 1 paragraph per image. Each paragraph should

  1. a) describe the image and
  2. b) directly address how it illustrates the theoretical perspective.

You will also need to include a short (200-250 word) reflection on your experience. This should be embedded in your MS Word Document. You will turn in only one file with all of the required components.

Components

  • 5 images that illustrate your theory.
  • 1 paragraph per image describing the image and how it illustrates your sociological theory.
  • 1 reflection on your experience (200-250 words)
    • What did you learn from this process?
    • What role did your academic research play in how you framed your visual narrative? Did your personal beliefs strengthen or change from reading academic work on your topic?
    • Was it difficult or easy to illustrate your theory? How did Part A shape Part B? Were you able to make improvements in your Part B?
    • Your reflection should address the following questions.
