This primary goal of this assignment is to challenge you to offer a ‘real-time’ fallacy analysis. In order to complete this assignment, you will need to do the following:

• Acquire Jason Reitman’s film Thank You For Smoking.
  • Note that the film is available from the following streaming providers:
    • Amazon Prime
    • HULU
    • YouTube
    • Google Play Movies
• While screening the film, your analysis will involve the following:
  • Identify up to 30 instances of fallacious reasoning
  • For each fallacy, please present:
    • fallacy name
    • transcribe the actual instance of fallacious thinking
    • provide an explanation
    • record the film time stamp
  • For each correct fallacy, you will be rewarded 2 points. Note that the assignment is worth up to 50 points.
