Do you plan to work in Real Estate Sales?

Not immediately. First, I plan to successfully retired from the U.S Army with 20+ years of service.

Real Estate Management? Do you plan to become a Real Estate Broker?

I am interested in obtaining a Real Estate Management certification prior to retired. This will help me to better manage the two properties I currently own. A long term goal of my is to have 1-2 property pay off prior to retirement.

Do you aspire to own and operate your own Agency?

After retired from the services owning an agency don’t sounds bad at all. However, prior of owning an agency I will first like to have few years in the field.

Real estate is not an occupation I am ready to initiate while serving in the Army. Real Estate meets all the specifications of a job I will like to have once I retired.

Compare and contrast the positives and the negatives about the career goal you have set for yourself.

Positives – I have a plan that keeps me in track to reach family and my goals. I am preparing myself academically to have a good foundation that can prepare me to obtain all certifications. The skills obtained will help me to better manage the properties I currently own.

Negative – I am not planning to start in the real estate field right away. The real estate field change constantly and if I don’t stay engage in these changes, I could fall behind. To reduce the risk of falling behind it will require discipline to continue engage reading and expanding my knowledge as years goes by.
