Program Overview:Advocate’s New Graduate Nurse Residency Program is one year in duration, with 8 seminar meetings. This program does not take the place of hospital or unit orientation, but instead focuses on leadership, quality outcomes and the professional role of the nurse. The seminar meetings incorporate blended learning teaching strategies that include didactic, hands-on content, case studies, simulation and facilitated discussion.”
