Integrated Delivery Systems (IDS) are expected to have a significant impact on care delivery and quality. Your assignment is to:

• Define what Integrated Delivery Systems are.
• Articulate what makes them unique versus historical models and what their key components are. (I would suggest identifying a system that is operating as an IDS and what its service model looks like.)
• Articulate your opinion on their strengths, weakness and the likelihood that IDS’s are here to stay. (Think about the success that MC has had since the early 1900’s and what the political landscape might imply over the next 4-8 years.)
