Students will analyze a major economic/business event of choice: Amazon Aquiring Zoox. Students will deduce how this particular issue had an economic/business impact on the parties involved and obtained prominent media coverage and, choosing the perspective of one of the parties involved, will hypothesize how the public relations and advertising efforts of all parties involved may have shaped the outcome (2,000 – 2,400 words, 6-8 pages).

Apply critical thinking to hypothesize in those instances where insufficient data are available to you, making certain that your hypotheses make sound intellectual and strategic sense.

Be sure to cite your research sources and indicate those areas in which you are hypothesizing. Bear in mind you are analyzing a program that has already taken place, not creating a new one (except to the extent that you offer suggested alternative approaches as part of your analysis).
