Objective:
Identify a social issue that is important to you, and research an artist, or artwork that addresses that issue.
Learning objectives:
Connecting an artist or artwork to a social issue that is current.
Expectations:
No more than two pages, double spaced (12 pt. font).

Prompt 1: Describe the issue that is important to you, and how you chose an artist who addresses that.
Prompt 2: Describe the artist’s work and how it addresses the issue you chose to focus on.
Prompt 3: Describe how the artist helped you understand the issue important to you, through their art work.
You must address all three prompts, and be specific.
This response paper will be graded by the GTA for the course.
