Performance Response Paper (20 points)

2 double spaced pages maximum.

Requirement:

After our discussion of the video “Apeshit” by the Carter’s, watch the “Homecoming” concert film and live album about preparation for Beyoncé’s performance at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music Festival. (available on Netflix). If you do not have netflix find what you can on the internet (there are portions of it on youtube) and discuss what you see. You may also further discuss the Music Video Apes**t if you can not get access to Homecoming.
Write a response paper following the two prompts below.

Prompt 1: What did you interpret as the show or music video’s theme/purpose/message to its audience, and did it engage you? What, if any, personal insights did you discover through researching it?

Prompt 2: Describe a component of the show that had a lasting impression on you. Feel free to include an image (screenshot) or something directly expressing a message you received from watching either of these things.

You must address both prompts, and be specific!
