Decision Making/ Goal Setting Assignment

Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to make a plan for your future. Consider using the information you have collected thus far (career research, academic research, etc) to complete this assignment. You must write at least one page.

STEP 1

Identify your Career Goals

First, identify your ultimate career goal/s. (Ex. obtain a position as a college dean, earn recognition as an expert in your field, be published, own a successful company, etc.) Next, identify all of the educational, financial, personal goals you need to reach to obtain your ultimate career goal/s.

STEP 2

Illustrate your Career Goals

Now illustrate your goals by creating a timeline, graph, table, image, etc…

Be creative, use available software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, etc…

You need to create something that shows all of your goals and the order you plan to reach them.

Be sure to include:

• deadlines
• include goals you have already reached
• include future goals
