Journal Entry 1 (with parts A and B) will be approximately 3-4 pages total (typed/doublespaced/11 or 12” font and standard margins). Please write this in essay format (paragraphs vs lists or bullets). You’ll do essay A and essay B, but they can be submitted together in the same document (just put A and B before each section). Writing in the first person is expected for all journal entries, as these are about YOU and YOUR aspirations.

FOR PART A, here is my Jung personality assessment – ENTJ Extravert (53%) iNtuitive(20%) Thinking(13%) Judging(16%)

A)For Journal Entry #1, please include a 2 (approximately) page journal entry on the field/profession and role/position you’re interested in and why (you’ll use the Johnston textbook to learn more about this organization and career opportunities within it). In your essay, please be sure to include answers to these prompts: How did you become interested in pursuing this particular profession (why does it appeal to you)? What concerns or qualms do you have about this career choice? How did you acquire the knowledge you currently possess about this choice (e.g., a relative in the profession, television, cj courses, friends, life experience); explain. What are the gaps in your knowledge and what do you hope to learn more about in this class? (note: this may help set the stage for what topic you choose to search for an academic journal article on). Next, please include a brief summary (one paragraph) of your Jung personality assessment results and how they match up with (or don’t!) your career aspirations. Any surprises for you? If there appears to be a mismatch between your personality type and those job requirements (e.g., if you’re a feeling introvert seeking a job best suited for a thinking extrovert), how do you anticipate managing the anticipated disconnect/conflict this may cause?

B)For journal entry B, please watch the video 13^th and look at the discussion questions posted in the guide below. Please write a 1 ½ -2 page analysis/reaction paper on the movie. Please be sure to incorporate your responses to questions 1, 2 and 5 (in link below) into your commentary. You are welcome to include other questions and/or comments as well, but be mindful of page constraints.
