Answering the following questions in a journal.

1. What is your previous experience writing PIE or body paragraphs? (No worries if it is nothing, and this is new.)
2. In your own words, what is the Point of a body paragraph?
3. In your own words, what is the Information of a body paragraph? What can you use as Information? What is the purpose of the Information piece?
4. In your own words, what is the Explanation in a body paragraph? How long should the Explanation be compared to the Information? What is the purpose of the Explanation?
5. What are at least two takeaways or AHA moments you had reviewing the material? What do you want to make sure to remember when you draft body paragraphs in this class?
6. What questions do you still have about PIE body paragraphs? If you don’t have any, do you feel like you can write a PIE body paragraph?
