Rasmussen College Sexually Transmitted Infection Conditions & Issue Research

Select a sexually transmitted infection (STI) and do research on it. Write a 3-5 page paper about the condition/issue. In the paper discuss the concepts below. Each of the below concepts can be a paragraph for your paper:

What is the pathophysiology of one STI
What is the etiology of the selected STI
What are the clinical manifestations of the selected STI
What is the treatment for the selected STI

Use at least one scholarly source to support your findings. Examples of scholarly sources include academic journals, textbooks, reference texts, and CINAHL nursing guides. Be sure to cite your sources in-text and on a References page using APA format. A lot of people are still missing this step! This is IMPORTANT! Without in text citations, you are considered plagiarizing which the University has a ZERO tolerance policy.

• Be sure to have a separate title page.
• You should have page numbers located in the right upper corner of each page
• You no longer need to use running head for APA, you only need page numbers on each page. As a reminder, you have an APA template in your apa guides. Use it if you are unsure how to format the page numbers.
• Be sure to have a separate reference page at the end of your assignment.
• For in text citations, you are using the (author’s last name, year)
• Your reference page should have the word Reference in bold and centered.
• Your reference page should be double spaced with the use of hanging indents. Hanging indent means that the first line of your reference is flush left and all lines for that source after the first line is indented. This should be the case for all your references.
• Do not put an extra double space between your sources, just regular double space and hanging indent is fine.
• Your references should always be in alphabetical order
