Customers are the lifeline of enterprises, so efficient management of customers is the key to create more sales opportunities. Salesforce.com grasped this key point, which promoted its success. Salesforce.com makes use of the information technology, provides the customer management system, efficiently integrates information for each company, interprets data, processes resources, standardizes the work flow, improves the efficiency, and also helps many enterprises to make decisions. It is the key to use information technology to refine the management of customer information, reduce management costs, and form a perfect customer management system. For long-term development, Salesforce.com also faces problems. For example, considering the comprehensive cost and coverage, the workload of later operation and maintenance is heavy. When facing the personalized needs of clients, it may need to be developed separately, and enterprises should consider affordability. In addition, as all the customer data of the enterprise are in the system, the security of the data is also essential. Once the data leak, it will also bring serious consequences.
