Grossmont College Electronic Devices Might Be Bad for Adolescents Discussion

Question Description

This is the LAST part of the research paper. I can include the other parts of this paper that are already complete if you need it along with the articles I have chosen if needed.

In the Discussion section, the major findings of the study are often restated but typically only in narrative form, and the theoretical meaning of the results is discussed. An important question to consider in the Discussion section is: Do your findings support the hypothesis?

In the discussion, you will evaluate and interpret the outcomes in your study. Do not use the discussion section to restate points that were already made in other sections of your paper. Instead, use the discussion to build upon a stronger interpretation and understanding of the research question.

The structure of a discussion should use the following organization:

*Clearly state whether the findings support or did not support for the hypothesis that was tested. Briefly explain where in the data the support or nonsupport was observed. These would be the specific behaviors you observed.

*Give context for how your findings fit the previously published studies (studies that were likely first described in the introduction). Do not re-state the studies or cite sources in this section.

*Identify potential limitations of your research and methods – anything that may have biased the pattern of results observed and any potential threats to internal or external validity. How could you strengthen the design? Everyone should note small population size and use of videos as possible limitations to the study.

*Provide a brief summary on the importance of your findings. In a sentence or two, state how your findings are novel and/or build upon what is known in the literature. You can also make suggestions as to what new directions of research could be pursued, given the results you observed, and the implications for such research. It might be observing a different age group or a specific gender.

This section of your research paper should be approximately one page in length. Include a cover page with running head and page #s.

Below I will include an example of the paper if needed.
