GMU Tools to Prevent Security Breaches JP Morgan Chase & Co Case Study

You need to write up your final project proposal (no short than one page) this week. You will develop your case study report during the rest of the semester based on this proposal. Your proposal should include the following information:

• Which information security topic (or tools, techniques, strategies, etc.) you are interested in;
• A brief profile of the organization (either factual or fictional is fine) you’re going to focus on;
• Briefly describe the problem/issue the organization facing and security solutions you will study.

One clarification I want to make is that you need to discuss your security topics/solutions in context. It would be ideal if you could study a case of which you have firsthand experience or one that you can provide the details like cost-benefit or business impact analysis, how and why you would recommend the chosen security solutions, and any obstacles that might be faced throughout the project. So only a general discussion of a well-known security issue (like passwords or wifi security) may not get full credit or not be accepted at all. I would like to have an open forum about case studies. Please use this venue to exchange case ideas with your classmates, and ask questions about any specific topics you’re interested in.

I will put two students topic examples to make it easier for you.

then when we finish we will need to comment on two students topic. Also when I get the approval to work on the chosen topic we will move forward.
