First, let’s start with reflective questions based on your experiences and/or opinion:

1- Why do you think health disparities and environmental justice issues are closely linked?

Consider the following:

Access to health care has been considered a critical issue in breast cancer survival. Recall what you learned about factors impacting access to care.

2- What social determinants of health (economic stability, neighborhood and physical environment, education, food, community and social context, and health care system) can impact cancer survival? Select 2 of the social determinants to talk about that you believe have the most significant impact on cancer survival and explain why you ranked them as the most significant.
