Cuyamaca College Global Climate Change and Loss and Damage Programs Discussion
Question Description
Debriefing and Comparative Assessment
In a consolidated recap of results by section prepared by the instructors, and a final live Zoom lecture sessionscheduled, we will compare the results in each section to the others, and analyze differences and similarities in the negotiations and your assessments. The session will be organized to give you a chance to compare notes with other students who played the same country in different sections. Following the live session, a final 150-250 word posting due, will give you a chance to step back for a final assessment. How did your section do in comparison with the other sections? What alternative strategies does the comparison suggest your player in the simulation might have adopted? What difference might a different strategy have made? Do the overall class results confirm your analysis from your own section, or show other outcomes are possible? Has the comparison made you more optimistic, or more pessimistic?
NOTE;Students unable to participate in the Live Zoom Lecture Meeting for any reason will be asked to view the recorded meeting and submit an additional 100-200 word comment in their posting about what they learned from this viewing.
