Next week we will begin our unit on short stories. I have a list of short stories I want to cover and discuss and I want to know:

1) Are there any short stories you are particularly fond of? Do you have any experience reading short stories? Are there any authors you like?

2) Are there any topics you want to touch on? Topics like isolation, race, mental health, sexuality. What do you want to discuss or learn about? Are there any topics you want to avoid?

3) Have you ever written or would you like to try writing a short story?
