One of the most important aspects when it comes to building your own personal computer versus buying a pre-built personal computer is how fast the equipment is no longer top of the line.

With hardware updating and changing in performance and scope every month, one challenge is coming to terms with the fact that when parts for a personal computer are purchased, they will eventually be replaced with more powerful components and what premium price was paid for your parts will be heavily discounted.
