Instructions:

1. This assignment requires you to develop a strategy for enhancing the customer sales and service activities in a business.
   1. Describe the economic value of customer loyalty to businesses and provide specific recommendations for increasing customer loyalty in a business.
   2. Identify sales and service principles that should be used in any retail business and explain why.
   3. Explain how setting and achieving quality service standards influences sales results. Provide examples to support your explanation.
   4. Evaluate the importance of ensuring that sales and service goals are fully aligned with and support seasonal and annual financial plans.
   5. Make and defend a plan to develop, implement, and evaluate new sales and service activities in order to drive sales in a retail business.
   6. Synthesize your answers to the previous questions to provide a summary of your strategy for enhancing sales and service delivery in a retail business over the next quarter.

Consider what could be done to boost business performance by improving customers’ shopping experiences, satisfaction, and loyalty. Use the course content and the knowledge and skills you’ve developed to address each of the following points in your strategy document:

Present and defend your strategy and recommendations in a six-page (minimum) paper. The minimum length does not include the title page, abstract, reference page, or any additional pages containing charts, appendices, etc. At least one outside research source is required for this assignment.

Format Instructions: Your paper must be double-spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font, with 1” margins on all sides. It must consist of a title page, abstract, body of the paper, and a reference page. A running header and page numbers must be included per APA style guidelines. Level I, Level II, and Level III headings must be used in the body of the paper. An appendix (or appendices) must be included after the reference page. The appendix/appendices should contain materials to support your answers to the questions posed in this paper. Since outside sources are required on this assignment, APA style in-text citations must be included in the body of the paper.
