Ashford University Mobile Technology Solutions in Business Communications Questions
Question Description
Causes and Consequences
Take a recent significant event (within the past ten years) and explain how you think a biographer, historian, or social scientist would describe the causes and consequences of the event (for example: the emergence of the European Union, the Timothy McVeigh execution, natural disasters like hurricanes, floods, or droughts). Also, explain how or if the event affected your city or community.
New Technologies
Are there new technologies or material changes that transform businesses or companies expectations and the way they interact? Have you had any experience with a business or company that introduced new technical systems to do things? What other kinds of changes did they stimulate? How did people react differently?
Social Change
Locate an article that you feel addresses one of the three ways that we can think about social change that the author has identified on pages 66-67. Discuss why you chose the article and which of the three social change areas it addresses. Remember to provide an APA citation of the article.
Political Economy
If you could choose between what we called the Anglo-American political economy and the continental European model of political economy, which would you prefer? Why? Respond to at least two of your classmates postings and really engage your classmates in conversation. If you do this seriously, you are in for an exciting conversation and one probably full of ideological quicksand.
