Provide one example of how you have been personally impacted by someone else’s poor security measures. This can be a person, business, and/or stranger. Please perform some basic research on your incident – including two additional sources explaining the attack. Lastly, provide two strategies (lessons learned) you have taken to prevent the same event from reoccurring.

Example: My wife recently used our family credit card to make an online order from Panera Bread and the information was stolen. Unbeknown to her, the credit card number was most likely stolen through the use of a non-secure website (http – https – source 1 -> https://biztechmagazine.com/article/2007/07/http-vs-https) using a rogue access point such as a wi-fi pineapple (source 2 -> https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos-space-apps/network-director3.1/topics/concept/wireless-rogue-ap.html and source 3 – https://shop.hak5.org/products/wifi-pineapple). Since the theft, we have installed a VPN and unchecked automatically connect to know networks on her iPhone.
